Weekly College Update

Dear Senior Snow Leopards, Bulldogs, Thunderbirds, and Huskies,

Can you believe that in less than a month now you’ll be graduating from high school? I know it’s a very busy and exciting time of year for seniors, but there are two important tasks college readiness that need your time and attention as we wrap up the year.

This week’s focus is updating Naviance and taking the senior college survey.

Every senior needs to take a few minutes to update Naviance with your college results (accepted, denied, etc.) and the college you will be attending in the fall. You can follow the instructions in this powerpoint, and it should only take 5 minutes to do. The reason this is so important is that we need to send your final transcript to the college you will be attending by July 1st. If your college doesn’t receive your final transcript, your enrollment could be revoked, so please don’t risk it! Update your Naviance account today!

The second task I would like every senior to complete is the senior college survey. This survey serves two purposes. First, it’s your chance to give your feedback on how well we supported you through the college process this year and what we could do better for future classes. Second, we want to get your contact information so we can keep in touch with you after graduation, share opportunities like jobs and scholarships, and check in on how college is going. It should only take 10-15 minutes to complete this survey.

Thank you for taking the time to do these important action items!

Respectfully,

Ms. Hannon
Director of College Readiness
