 | College Readiness Newsletter August 26, 2015 | | Weekly College UpdateDear Senior Huskies, Snow Leopards, Bulldogs, and Thunderbirds,
Congratulations on starting your senior year and all of the hard work it took to get here! My name is Ms. Hannon and I am Summit’s Director of College Readiness. Along with your mentor, I will be supporting you this year as you go through the college application process.
The purpose of this weekly newsletter is to help you stay on track in the college process by informing you about what’s coming up—college events on your campus, application deadlines, scholarship opportunities, and more!
This week’s college priority is standardized testing. Do you need to take or retake the SAT, SAT II, or ACT? Registration deadlines for this fall are approaching quickly. Check out the resources below for more information and register soon! Below you can find other information about upcoming college programs and scholarship opportunities. At the end of the newsletter is a short “quiz.” Answer the three questions correctly, and you’ll be entered into a drawing for prizes, such as college logo wear and other college swag!
Respectfully,
Ms. Hannon Director of College Readiness khannon@summitps.org UPCOMING EVENTS -- PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS | | | | | | | | |
